Report Scheduling

IT-Conductor supports scheduling of the Reports using the standard scheduling mechanism

Defining and Operating Schedules

Schedules are IT-Conductor  objects that can be configured in Management→Schedules menu

You can define a number of schedules per you tenant (click + tool):

  • Define Specific Days, Time Window and Formula for when the Schedule is ON (active)
  • Define how the process/report instance is created:

Instance Owner - override instance owner, by default the schedule's owner is used

Instance Removal Age - override the removal age of the instance, if not specified, use definition's removal age, if that is not specified - use the number of days since last schedule run

  • Define what context object is used for the Report instance creation:

Instance object(s) selection is controlled by the value of Context Mode attribute:

Single - uses a specific context object

Enumerate - uses search criteria to enumerate context objects and instantiate process/report definition for each matching object

  • After the schedule is created you can assign reports and other process definitions to it.

Important

It is important to understand that while schedule can be ON (active) for a prolonged interval during the day the creation of the report instances (based on definitions) only takes place the first time in the day it becomes active.
All time calculations are based on the schedule owner's time zone.

Assigning Report definition to a Schedule

You can see all your tenant report definitions in Management → Report Definitions menu

Clicking on Report's Appointment tool or selecting  Edit Schedules in the object menu shows the selection of the Schedule the Report definition is/can be assigned to:

Check the schedules the report should be assigned to and click Save
