Symptom

  • Error message upon launching SID-Refresh™.

Program run as root
Figure 1: Error on Linux/Unix if not run by <sid>adm user
Figure 2: Error on Windows if not run by <sid>adm user

Environment

  • Both Linux/Unix and Windows Systems

Cause

  • If <sid>adm is not used to run the program, this error will be encountered.

Resolution

  • Always run the program using an <sid>adm account. Please refer to the General Prerequisites for other system requirements needed to run the program.
